10 Things You Can Do To Get Out Of Your Comfort Zone

“You never change your life until you step out of your comfort zone; change begins at the end of your comfort zone.”

-Roy T. Bennett

I’ve written countless blogs on this topic. This month especially, I’m so keen for you to push yourself and achieve greatness.

And that means getting out of your comfort zone.

Here are my 10 ideas to help you just mix it up a little:

1. Do something new every day - whether it’s a recipe, a hobby, yoga pose, anything! Try to embrace something different from your regular routine.

2. Meditate - literally get out of your own zone and enter a new zone. I love meditation to just get out of my own head.

3. Make more friends - As an adult, it can actually be pretty difficult to make new friends, there’s less opportunities for it. But you never know what a new friend can add to your life. Be open.

4. Travel more - Introduce yourself to new cultures and new communities. Go on a road trip this summer to somewhere you’ve never been/heard of. It’ll be exciting!

5. Volunteer or start a new job - Keep it fresh by dedicating your time to a local charity or organisation. It could change your mindset!

6. Accept change - Let yourself grow and invite change into your life. It can be scary, but it feels great too!

7. Remember what you want to change - If you’re keen to change something up, work out what that is. If you’re reading this post, you’re looking to get out of your comfort zone, but what aspect of your life are you looking to change? Is it work? Love? Travel?

8. Be happy with failure - Once you accept the fact that you may fail, you’ll be unstoppable. Don’t let the fear of failure hold you back.

9. Keep track - Keep a journal or notebook to track your progress. If you want to do something new everyday, write about it every day. A page a day goes a long way!

10. Read motivational books - If you need more inspiration, immerse yourself. Check out some of my favorite books…

We can do this together, let’s get out of our heads and step into greatness!
