Black History Month is every February, and I have to say I think this Black History Month comes at a pivotal point. We’ve been saying Black Lives Matter during the pandemic and people are listening! The lovely Kamala Harris became the first African-American and Asian-American vice president just last month and I’m feeling positive about 2021! This is Black history!

The queen, Oprah, released this in 2014 and it still finds a way to be relevant daily. It’s a book of short essays on a variety of themes such as power, connection, gratitude and more.

Lastly, I have to recommend this bestseller from Grey’s Anatomy and Scandal Exec Producer, Shonda Rhimes. Shonda set herself a challenge to say YES to everything and changed her life. So, she documented her experience and published it in this book!
