The Perfect Autumn Essential Oils

The smells of Autumn are absolutely one of a kind.

Thanksgiving is on the way and I can already smell the cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie.

There are many different seasonal oils that we can add to our diffusers or directly to our skin to set the tone for this cozy season.

But these are some of my favorites so far.

1. Cinnamon

Cinnamon’s such a unique flavor and scent with benefits aplenty! It has antibacterial properties and promotes hair fullness and growth. Make sure to add oil directly to skin and hair to reap the benefits.

It’s festive too! Cinnamon Bark Essential Oil

2. Nutmeg

Rich with antioxidants and mood-boosting capabilities, Nutmeg is a unique smell that totally sets the scene for any fall evening.

3. Cedarwood

Cedarwood oil comes from anything and everything related to the cedar tree. It’s a brilliant oil to add to your collection this Autumn as it totally makes you feel like you’re in the woods. What’s more, it’s excellent for skin and hair. You may also recognize cedarwood from many aftershaves and perfumes, it’s used for its delightful aroma.

4. Bergamot

Last but not least the citrusy Bergamot, which you may know from earl grey tea, always reminds me of chilly nights in November.

It’s a commonly used oil for aromatherapy because of its gorgeous fragrance and its anti-stress properties.

Try it for yourself: Bergamot Essential Oil
