Feel to Heal.

During the holiday season many of us will spend a tremendous amount of time searching the Internet or battling the crowds in the shopping malls in search of the perfect gift for our loved ones. For many this ritual of finding the perfect present for a special someone can be stressful because it’s a symbol of love we have for them and their reaction is a sign of our own worthiness.

This time of year tends to launch an unsuspecting popularity competition among friend, family, and even co-workers; all of us searching for the validation from others to prove that we are worthy, happy, and loved.

But is this true?


Because the purity of our true essence in which we entered this world with has buried and replaced with the entangled stories of the outside world. So how do we begin to reconcile what the purity we were born with?

It begins with leaning into what we are feeling. Once we begin to understand what we are truly feeling we can then begin unravel and understand the stories of our soul, that we bring out into the world.

Story is the center of our lives, our soul, our beings. The stories we tell ourselves and those told to us by others as well as how we anchor and accept them defines who we are and who we want to be in the world. Exploring the stories in our lives can be an exhausting and long activity that most shy away from.

But I’m going to encourage you to take the journey as it can be the most rewarding adventure of your life. So this will be one of many blog posts that will focus around my f.l.y. coaching practice, in which I mentor others to put yourself first by loving yourself first. There are many tools I have in my toolkit to ensure I practice self-love on a daily basis.

So as part of my journey, I would like to share some of the books, activities, tools and more that I do. A blog goal I have for next year is to list and discuss a book a month.
