4 Acts of Daily Self-Love

Throughout this month, we have discussed the true meaning of self-love, loving skincare to pamper yourself with, and how each astrology sign has its own calling for self-love. 

Now, I wanted to include just 4 small acts that you can include in your day-to-day life, just as I do:

1. Prepare yourself a nutritious meal

We have to eat every day to give our bodies the energy it needs to go about our daily lives. However, I think people often take the importance of food - and the enjoyment that can be found in food- for granted. Cooking a meal for yourself can be something you look forward to. It can brighten your day a little and make you feel like you accomplished something great even when the day itself wasn’t the best. 

2. Spend a little time outdoors each day

Being in nature has a revitalizing effect. The activity doesn’t have to be strenuous, it could just be going for a walk with your dog. The fresh air, green scenery, and simple act of getting out of the house to do something active could be all that you need to feel a little serenity. We can find that love is all around us when we take the time to look!

3. Find your self-care ritual

Although I’ve already shared some self-love skincare tips (if you’re curious read them here!), I still believe it is important for everyone to find their own perfect skincare ritual. There is a product for everyone, and it is more about the act of taking care of oneself rather than focusing on flaws. It is simply to enjoy your own company, to appreciate the skin you’re in, and to show your body love.

4. Dedicate time to a little journaling

Journaling can be whatever you’d like to be. You could write your goals for today, the things that happened, or how you’re feeling. Something I enjoy doing each day is writing a few lines in my gratitude journal. Gratitude journaling is a practice I think everyone should incorporate into their day, so also I wanted to share some tips! It gives you time with just you, and your thoughts and I don’t think there is anything more beautiful than that.
